So we had been planning to go to Disney world for Christmas since the beginning of the summer. But then my sister got pretty sick so, yah, we didn't go. So we have been a little down. My sister is getting better, in fact, she seems perfectly fine now compared to when she was throwing up about a day ago. But, y'know, I'm ok with it all. My Grandpa said that it was probably a sign that we weren't meant to go right now, and that sounds all right with me. We rescheduled for a summer trip since it is really hard to get your money back. My grandparents are even thinking about coming.
But now they're out of town and my sis is still not well enough to bring out of the house, especially in the cold rainy weather we are receiving.
Today we made Christmas shrinky-dinks and currently I am on a cookie baking spree. I'm just enjoying this break from school. My English teacher gave us no assigned reading over the holidays, so I finally started to read The Hobbit, which I wanted to do two summers ago.
So, things are pretty slow around here now, and I got some free time sooo, why not a meme?
